Dedicated to clarifying the financial world, Joey’s mission as a retirement professional is straightforward and sincere: To give clients the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about Medicare, health insurance, Social Security and financial planning. When working with clients, Joey remembers his favorite piece of advice: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is today.” Joey knows it’s never too late to start planning for retirement, and he enjoys helping families work toward their dreams.
Joey’s career started with a conversation with a former colleague who told him he would never be able to retire. This sentiment stuck with Joey, and he soon realized there are a lot of people who need financial guidance. Before venturing into finance, Joey honed his skills in the automotive industry, where he excelled as a service manager. He joined Anchor Financial Group in 2022. Joey holds life, health and annuity insurance licenses.
Joey’s wife, Meagan, and their growing family are the heart of his life. Born into a family of first-generation Canadian immigrants, Joey’s lineage is steeped in the pursuit of better opportunities — a pursuit he continues in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Outside of finance, Joey is passionate about cars, fitness, and ultra-marathons. His analytical mind finds joy in solving intricate problems, be it in robust financial planning or skillfully mastering a Rubik’s cube, a pastime his father introduced to him as a teen.
